Can you please help me? My friend and I are over 65. We have known each other since we were 13 and until recently met about once a month. Her husband has cancer and it has spread significantly. With it comes the intense pain and broken hip, rehab nursing home and all the advocacy for him as well as the acknowledgment of where his cancer is leading. I have said many times that I am here for anything she needs. I know she appreciates that but it seems like just words. Can someone tell me the best words or what I can do to give her support without over reaching? Thank you.
