Called Toyota dealer in Austin to get quote on labor for replacing valve cover gaskets and spark plugs due to oil leak and was offered the additional service items based on miles 235,175 the rate 5 hours @ 210.80 for $1054.40 for just the valve cover gaskets and seals and spark plugs. The additional work is $2286.36 I rejected the offers but wondering are any of these really necessary especially the radiator hoses?
What’s interesting I already replaced the transmission fluid with Toyota ATF-WS and told them I had.
