



Been selling regularly for many years, so this is a situation I've run into quite a few times before. Always international orders.
That issue is the buyer address being beyond maximum length. We know how this goes, If I change it, I lose all protections. After many messages the buyer says they've changed it or updated it, but the problem persists.
I never know if this is really a language & communication issue, or them waiting for me for change it myself and open up the possibility of a free item.
Has anyone reached out to ebay in real time about this and if so, how'd it go?
It really sucks for the seller cuz I dont want to let the ship by date pass (ding on my metrics), I dont want to initiate the cancellation (ding on my metrics), and im certainly not going to make the changes myself.
should note this is a $400 sale so large enough I care more than most.
