UFC 6 CAF/Online Career System

As an Online Career fan, I really do hope that they bring it back for UFC 6.

As a big fan of CAFs, there are a number of things that I'm wondering about these systems at launch, especially considering we're still 30 days away from launch.

Firstly, I wonder how the CAF movesets are going to work. Is each move gong to be based on a fighter's MoCap and set as a different move like how the Celtic Cross and the Straight are distinct punches, or are they going to be based on the posture that the CAF uses?

The CAF system would truly be the best it has ever been if they bring in a WWE 2K style move system where instead of "Jab, Snap Jab, Backfist" they'd instead have "Jab 1, Jab 2, Strickland, Backfist, Page," etc. They could have that for a bunch of moves, so you would be able to tailor a custom fighter with say, for instance, a Pereira left hook and a Wanderlei right hook.

I also wonder if they'll bring back online career at all. It was cool to have a game mode where you could pretty much play the game as an RPG and play with a specific build. I genuinely think that CAFs would have been ten times better in UFC 5 if instead of having "Vanguard, Shark, Smasher, Showboat, etc" they gave us a budget for the fighter and pretty much let us use 1700-2000 EVO to make the fighter that we want to use for quick match. I always found it a shame that I couldn't use my built up Online Career fighter in quick match.

Last thing, but I'm really hoping that they go back to UFC 4's shop system; I really hated the rolling shop and the fact that you had to check in daily if you wanted a specific cosmetic or emote. Just give me a shop full of things and I'll find something to spend my coins or tokens on lol.

[DISCLAIMER: This is not a sponsored post. It may read like a sponsored post, but that is because I am genuinely in awe at the price point and effectiveness of the ready meal service that I'm subscribed to. I am making this post to share my success in the hopes that it will help make weight loss accessible to some people with less self control or otherwise people like myself who are less able.]

Hey all!

So, a while ago I came to this subreddit on another account claiming that I was eating 1400kcal per day, in a 1000kcal deficit and still struggling to lose weight. I now realise that I was being naive at that point and that whilst 1400 per day was "the goal", the fact is that some things go unnoticed and suddenly you’re a couple hundred calories over the limit.

Anyway, my issue was that my partner makes good food but she doesn't measure what she puts into it in the slightest. She likes to call herself a "feeder", lol. I have always appreciated her cooking, but I now realise how difficult it is to accurately track calories when you don't make your own food. I have always appreciated the efforts that she made but at the end of the day, she cooks food that she wants to enjoy eating, and I eat food to lose weight. It was silly of me to think that I would be able to get 1400kcal per day when dinner alone was amounting to around 1000kcal daily haha.

I have since decided to make what I have found to be a super convenient and helpful decision; I signed up to a ready meal service specifically for weight loss or recomp or whatever else it is needed for. I have decided that I don't want to name the service in question because the last time I recommended a service on Reddit, I was downvoted to oblivion and called a shill about a million times, but I will talk about my success with the service in question and am open to naming the service I personally used for anyone interested.

So, my membership costs me £35ish per week and included in that, I get around 7 meals (which are nutritionally balanced and around the 450-550kcal mark). That's around about the same amount that you'd spend per month on groceries here in the UK, which is pretty good considering you’re also receiving the convenience of no longer having to worry as much about the nutritional content of your food as you perhaps once were. (Just another disclaimer: I got a discount code on signup for 50% off my first week and 20% off for four weeks after that, but in fairness, those discounts have continued to be offered pretty much every time the previous discount expired, so it just feels like it's perpetually 20% cheaper than it is.)

The other huge benefit is that the service that I use is NOT a meal kit. As a disabled man, it's difficult for me to stand in a kitchen for an extended period of time cooking up a storm, so I specifically chose this service because they are ready meals. I know that might have discouraged you, but they're genuine meals put into disposable plastic containers and shipped to your door. When I have bangers and mash, for instance, the mash is still creamy and buttery, the gravy tastes great and the sausages have that firm squishiness that they'd have after being roasted. They are genuine meals and not just some crap you'd get for your kids when you go on holiday.

The added benefit of these meals is that I can take them to work with me. My usual routine is that I'll take a yoghurt, some granola and a ready meal to work with me, and that's only around 1300kcal for what is essentially a whole day for me. It's fantastic!

These meals have changed my life.

I've dropped around 15-20lbs since I started using the service about two months ago and I genuinely don't think I'd be able to lose weight like this without them, especially considering the plateau that I was on throughout the entirety of 2025. I have dropped from around 237lbs to 223lbs in what feels like only a couple of weeks, and all whilst eating food that doesn't feel like I'm making some massive compromise or putting myself through hell just to lose weight.

I know the "changed my life" type thing makes me sound like I'm trying to sell you a product, and I guess that's because I am wholeheartedly recommending it, but there is no incentive to me besides spreading the love. Go with whichever company you want, but I'm telling you, this type of food-to-your-door model is incredibly helpful and convenient for weight loss.

Anyway, I hope you "losers" (?) found this post helpful, I'll answer any questions that you have for me as a service subscriber to the best of my ability.
