Ricky is still getting used to my phone and won't take it from my hand with it out but here she is getting her second breakfast. She's definitely feeding some little ones so I'll give her a pass.

She is actively asking for a third breakfast as I type this but my girl, you gotta get some of your own food too! I've weaned her down to just a few snacks last fall after she recovered and was fine with the new deal until now, almost 8 months ago. Suddenly she's not feeling the foraging life and wants all the snacks.

I'm thinking of making her little meals again so her diet isn't getting too off balence since she is nursing but that feels like back tracking when she's come so far.

This is Ricky, I've been taking care of her since she showed up injured last fall. It was a rough winter but she's still her cute self.

I give her a few walnut halves a day and I can tell shes definitely been feeding some babies this spring.
