Anyone been able to successfully not fully buy their dress once it was ordered? More details inside.

The dress I ordered is ready. I had paid the deposit but in the months of it getting made I found my dream dress elsewhere and got it at a great price. My 1st dress is now ready and I was wondering if it’s even worth it to tell the store to keep the dress and my deposit for it but release me from the remaining balance. I figured they’d be able to sell it off the rack and it hasn’t been altered yet plus I’m a standard sample size so that could be helpful.

Would this work at all or am I stuck to take this dress and pay the balance? It’s incredibly gorgeous but I am determined to wear my 2nd dress only. Selling online will be my only choice but even for a fraction of the cost I feel it could take ages.

Best Hawaiian resort/island in early Sept - adults only preferred and amazing beach required!

Looking for the first week of September so weather idk what island is best. Budget for hotel/activities around $7k but can push a bit if needed.

We are not big on activities. We will probably explore the island 2-3 of the days but not looking for much beyond food spots and maybe seeing a volcano and wandering a local neighborhood.

What we prioritize is a gorgeous beach! So a hotel that has beach front access and preferably food/drink service on the beach. Snorkeling would be great.

Adults only or just not “family friendly” if our options for adults only are limited.

Food is important to us so looking for a place with good options nothing like buffets. Local cuisine would be great!

Are there any boutique style hotels that offer this? I want something leaning luxury but smaller vibes than the Waldorf. Open to big hotels if needed.

Are there any activities we should consider? Not looking for anything like a long strenuous hike or zip lining but open to hearing what is suggested to do in Hawaii.

Thank you all!

I’m open to working with a travel agent if incentives are good but purchases must be made on a credit card (idk how this works just want to point it out)

Please be kind I’m having the worst time with this.

I have gorgeous 5x7 and 4x6 cardstock that I was able to print on at home but I need so many pages I was hoping to use a print shop and hoping the color would also be more crisp.

I took it to a shop and the man told me it has to have larger paper to print on and then they cut down to 5x7 and 4x6. But I don’t have larger paper and somehow my printer at home is capable of pulling this off but none of the professional places can? I called 2 other places and they said the same thing.

I understand the “it needs to grip the paper” part but why doesn’t my home printer need that. And what is my fix here? I can’t order bigger paper and I can’t do anything about the image because the background is all blue so it has to print all the way around :(

I’m so lost and frustrated. Did I spend weeks designing this for no reason? How are people on TikTok printing on 5x7 with no issues?? I follow a few DIY brides that pulled it off
