At my company, the wellbeing team have kindly put together a webpage all about baby and pregnancy loss, with colleagues' personal experiences and links to where you can find support. This is all wonderful, but the image with all of this information is a baby scan photo.

The BBC also published an article today about support for miscarriage - again brilliant - but the photo with it is someone heavily pregnant with a healthy baby scan in the background. Of course someone has sent me this article so I've got this happy scene showing up in my own messages now.

Being heavily pregnant and having a successful scan is something us a lot of us loss parents don't have, so I find these idyllic photos kind of frustrating in this context. Has anyone else noticed this?

Anyway, rant over, I'm thinking of asking my wellbeing team to choose a different image for the loss webpage - what do you think?
