Advice Needed: Haircuts
So I've had long hair since I was basically 14 years old, until I was around 22 it was an in a puffy style.
For the last 10 years I've either been tying it in a ponytail, or very occasionally wearing it out in the style you see in the pictures.
Its too much effort for me to make it look good, and its resulted in 100% of the time just tying my hair up in a ponytail.
Its time for a big change! I want to go full short.
My problem is I have no idea what to do style wise. I've tried looking up haircuts involving my curl type, but I've struggled to find a haircut that looks good.
I'm also worried that if I just shave it all even, it will go back to short and puffy.
What kind of styles/cuts have you seen or you think will look good?
Routine for the rules:
- Wash with whatever shampoo sounds good at the time (currently AG Care Vita C strengthening shampoo)
- Condition with whichever conditioner sounds good at the time (currently Luseta Biotin B-Complex Thickening Conditioner)
- After shower I dry with a towl and with hair still damp apply Mark Anthony Coconut & Shea leave in conditioner (i have this in my haor 100% of the time otherwise it's a fuzzy mess)
- Tie into a ponytail
- While sleeping i use a scrunchy loosely tied into a pineapple style to keep my hair out from under my head
