Taking my boyfriend out to dinner for his birthday. He wants steak. Where should we go? Can’t be prohibition smokehouse because they’re closed on Mondays.
I was trying to figure out how to test some mugs I made for durability (there were no visible cracks before). One recommendation was to fill with water, microwave for 1 minute, and see how hot the outside of the mug was. I did that test - seemed fine. Then later I left cold water in the mug overnight, sitting on a paper towel to see if it would leak at all. When I woke up in the morning, the big crack appeared near the top of the mug, and as you can see, the paper towel is soaked.
Wondering what happened, and how I can prevent this during the making process in the future.
