Did anyone notice RHH cleaners no longer exist?
I've had a stay in the RHH and, all credit to every nurse in here they are magnificent workers who have saved my life before, (as well as their ace doctors and surgeons, of course). May God bless them all.
But, during this stay I thought it odd, 48 hrs on ward and no early morning cleaning crew comes and goes, as 15 years ago was like clockwork every morning after breakfast?
Patient next to me was moved out tonight and in came a cleaner who I began ear bashing.
No, she said. I am not a cleaner. I am a nurse. We do all the cleaning now. Even vomit and poo on the regular.
Why are they forced to do this?
The Mockery never reported it and nurses won't strike, because their job commitment to you and I will not permit it.
Another shameful Tasmanian Liberals job description alteration. I'll bet Rockliff and company all have private cleaners.
