Progress going so slow now… need help😔😩

So the last time I posted was about 5ish months ago?? I had just hit 180 and was just starting to get frustrated that the progress had start slowing down despite me being consistent.

Since then, the lowest weight I’ve had was about two weeks ago, where I weighed in at 176.8. Currently, I’m just jumping around between 177-178 and will lose a few ounces each week.

My weight is so sensitive to my period/cycle that there are some weeks I am bloated and don’t lose anything.

In the beginning of my weight loss, I was losing .5-1LB a week pretty consistently. It’s been a year now and I feel like my goal weight will take FOREVER to achieve.

I’m currently eating about 1300-1400 calories daily. I still work out at least 4-5 times a week in the gym, and get at least 10-11k steps no matter what.

I’m not going to give up, and I’m just going to keep pushing and hope that I break out of this. Some weeks I’m so discouraged and can’t even look in the mirror, and other days I feel like I see how different I look. I know that’s a pretty universally shared experience while losing weight, but it’s still so discouraging.

I’ve been getting so many comments lately about people noticing how much weight I’ve lost etc, but it’s hard to let that sink in when the scale budges so little. I try not to compare myself to others, but seeing how easily and consistently the scale moves for other people makes me feel like I’m doing something wrong.

Is there any advice anyone has?? Changes they think I should make? I just want to get back to losing .5 a week if I can, or just more consistency in general.

The only changes I have to note are that I started taking a new medication in December, Humira, for Ankylosing spondylitis that I was recently diagnosed with. I’m not aware of any side effects having to do with weight, so I didn’t really factor that in. Additionally, I started taking creatine two weeks ago.

As always, if anyone has any advice, thank you so much!!

Also, just want to give the cliff notes here: 30 Y female, 5’2, started weight loss about April 2025.. SW: 207, CW: 177
