How to get around not being able to stream Now TV (Sky) on Linux?

Linux noob here using Debian 13. Don't know if this is the best place to ask this question but here goes anyway.

In the UK we have a streaming service called Now TV (don't know if this is available elsewhere) which I recently signed up to but whenever I try and watch anything I get a playback error.

From googling I think this has something to do with Widevine and DRM which I know nothing about. I've heard you can emulate an Android Widevine version CDM. Does anyone know how to do this?

Is there an easier/better way of being able to stream this service on my PC monitor? I don't own a TV or any kind of casting device.
