Level 2 Written (Do I Escalate?)
Long story short I had to miss two shifts and called due to being sick. On top of the second call out for being sick, I also had to take the entire day to study for an exam that i absolutely could not fail otherwise my nursing school acceptance would be rescinded for me to start in the fall. So on top of being sick, I also had to choose between work or being able to start nursing school in the fall. So, i called out to study for my exam, which i passed, and kept my acceptance.
However, after missing the two shifts, even after explaining to my manager, I received a notice that I had gotten a level 2 written and that my schedule was “adjusted” moving forward. So for the past two weeks, and the next 3 this “adjustment” was my hours being cut from 34 a week to 0. I’ve been having to pick up shifts which is inconvenient when i have to drive 40+ minutes when my home store is 12 minutes away. I don’t know what to do. I’m a college student and have to support myself. Termination was never stated, ever. Only a level 2 write up
