Is it normal to only have 1 baker & 2 packagers?
Our manager insists that we only need 1 baker but our baker & old baker(me) usually would have to stay an hour or two over just to finish. Our club is constantly busy & our manager will add stuff to our plan threw out the day. It’s gotten to a point where we’ve have had 2 people quit within the last month and a half. They also expect us to cut overtime on friday’s which is one of our busiest days and it leads to a packager baking and then being short one. Half if not most times they won’t send us help and we get yelled at for not meeting expectations. We do have a night shift person but they had told us they didn’t want packagers leaving product for them/if we do only muffins & pies. Management will get mad at us for staying to finish & not staying to finish. Our pm staff also doesn’t get off til like 10-11 some nights because our manager will continue to add tasks for them and of course their left with more than just the muffins & pies some days with how busy we are. Is this normal in other clubs is or is our manager expecting to much?
