AITAH for not wanting to clean up with an obese brother?
I know the title sounds cruel in a way but it’s genuinely a necessary part of the story. I (22F) live with my entire family and have a brother (24M) who is genuinely disgusting. I don’t think it’s intentional but instead stems from the lack of mobility, excess sweat, and low stamina. My brother is 450-550lbs and leaves his mark everywhere he goes.
2 days ago I cleaned the bathroom but burnt my hand by accident with some boiling hot water, so im wanting to take a couple days off from cleaning it. He decided to take a bath today and the entire bathtub, sink, floor, and toilet are absolutely disgusting and covered in brown mystery 🤮.
My mom had a stroke so I’ve been helping her around the house, but I can’t help but feel resentment and disgust towards him because I no longer feel as though im cleaning for my family, but just after him specifically. I’ve brought it up to him and all he can say is “it’s a bathroom it’s always going to get dirty” and has expressed his anger and annoyance with me to my sister. It’s gotten to a point where I don’t even wanna clean for these people period, and im starting to hate my brother a bit.
