I have had issues/a fissure that was treated by a good proctologist. The pain greatly reduced, but I moved away and the pain has never 100% resolved. Since then, I have seen a new proctologist in my new city, but they say I am 100% healed.

The thing is, I still have some pain, particularly in the evenings. This is now several years since it was observed that my fissure was “healed”, but as I said I still have pain, at night in particular. They say I am healed and thus there is no further treatment that they can do.

Has anyone had a similar experience and have any advice?
