So this is a two part post.

1- I renewed my cdcp for 2026-27. I have confirmed it was received. However I am told by services canada that for renewals they don’t send approved letters electronically or by mail. I find this odd. Has anyone else gotten this answer? I am scheduled for oral surgery in July and don’t want to get any surprises.

2- odsp coverage for dental. I am told by my dentures that whomever is looking after odsp coverage in your area may ask for 3 months of bank statements. Is this also true? What is the reason behind that. I do have some savings but it falls well below threshold of $40,000. It was money I squirreled away when I am able to work.

So the federal government in their spring financial update had some revisions to the disability tax credit. Anyone have the Cole’s note edition of what is different.
