Saudia refund/ cancellation issue

Has anyone gone through the refund process from start to finish? Would love to hear your experience.

Here's my situation: The website sent an OTP to my US number, but I never received it, so I couldn't cancel through the normal online system. A customer service rep told me to submit a refund ticket instead of going the cancellation route.

I went through the chatbot on their homepage and an agent walked me through the process. There was apparently a secret/reference code required — I'm not sure I ever received it, but the agent was able to provide it for me. He said I'd receive a confirmation email within 48 hours and that the refund itself could take up to 6 weeks.

For those who've been through this:

- How long did it take to get the confirmation email?

- Did the refund actually come through within 6 weeks?

My tickets were Flex economy meaning zero cancellation fee .

Any insight would be really appreciated!

I have a family situation that requires me to travel overseas for two weeks. I'll need to work remotely for one of those weeks and wanted to reach out in advance so you can help me stay connected.

I'm not very technical, so I want to be upfront about what I've tried before: a regular VPN didn't work for me last time I was abroad. The only thing that worked was tethering my laptop to my US phone's data plan. However, my work computer seems to block other types of connections when I'm overseas.

Could you help me find a solution that will work for my trip? I'm
