Skincare advice/products
I've read mixed opinions on creating tougher more durable skin.
Been climbing mostly indoors for a few months and feel like the skin is getting tougher. Regardless, the fingers are still going through it during longer sessions even when I let them heal up fully before a next climb. Now, I just tape up when it gets bad.
My question is: do I hydrate and lotion up or do the opposite and use an antihydral? The community seems to advise both, which seems counter intuitive.
Also, can someone explain rhino skin for me? What does it do and is it the same as antihydral cream?
TLDR:
Hydrating cream or antihydral cream for more durable skin?
(Excuse me if this is the wrong sub, apparently you can't ask for advice in the other climbing subs)
