My blue shrimp has babies coming!! I had her and the other blue I got as well as the two ghost shrimp in the betta tank after I acclimated them and my betta was not happy about the blues. I luckily had a ten at the end of its cycling with some fresh beneficial bacteria I got from the store that had settled that had basically the same water parameters. I transferred both the blues into the 10 gallon. I should have drip cycled them again but I panicked as my betta was chasing the non pregnant blue around the tank and I hadn’t seen the pregnant one. My pregnant one was hiding in the drift wood so I just transferred that as a whole to the 10 gallon and got her off before moving it back and the other one that the betta was more interested in was hiding in a java fern so I just transferred the plant as a whole to get that one in the new tank too and reduce stress by chasing them anymore since my betta seemed to be doing that fine. Did I mess up by putting colorful shrimp in the tank with my fish? My betta doesn’t mind my ghost shrimp but they are harder to see and significantly larger. Anyways, my preggos shrimp is chillin in the red roots now not moving much. I’m sure she is still stressed from the other tank as well as the tank transfer. I’m praying she makes it. As of now they are the only creatures in my ten gallon. I also have the magnetic sponge filter set to the lowest setting. My oxygen input looks like it has water in it so I took it apart and drained it and put it back in and it’s back so maybe I need to replace the tubing? I wanna make sure I have everything perfect for her and her babies. Going to get more beneficial bacterial and start feeding the tank regularly again in the ten gallon for when the babies hatch. Any and all advise please and thank you!!

I have my betta in a 5.5 gallon right now but I got her 10 gallon set up for the most part. I have a large piece of wood boiling to place in the 10 and bulbs planted in both tanks on top of the plants already in both. Planning on cycling the 10 and putting her in there and getting some shrimp when it’s more established. More plants are on the way! Goi g to get both the tanks betta beds and another tunnel for the 10. Any other suggestions?
