Cherry Springs State Park is the only internationally recognized dark sky location on the east coast. I took these pictures with my Samsung Galaxy phone. It was very chilly but worth the experience. I highly recommend for folks interested in stargazing. I also came across a mama bear with her cubs in the morning 😁 good times.

I recently discovered The Kinks and I am genuinely in love with their music!

There’s something about their songs that just hits, nostalgic in a magical way. I have never been to England but listening to it makes me feel like I am strolling through the 1960s London.

It honestly makes me feel like I was born in the wrong place, wrong time! Although I am not sure if I would have survived the 60s 😁

Anyways, what are your favorite songs or hidden gems I should check out?

Cheers 🥂

I used a 2 person tent from REI. I camped at the Jedidiah Smith Redwoods State Park in the month of May. It was raining pretty much all the time. It took me twenty minutes to light a fire. Had a beautiful experience, sleeping to the sound of rain and waking up the chirping of blue birds. There was a river nearby for an easy hike. There was no network inside the camping area. But it has a gas station right outside with a small store with food and basic camping supplies. Totally worth the experience!
