Hey there, I am really in a confused state here and not getting any clear answer nor a solution. May be someone who had the same experience, can share theirs.
I booked my first flight via OTA to travel on 10.01.2026 (operating flight Gulf Air). Due to some reasons, I had to reschedule my flight to 22.03.2026 and this time I rescheduled it directly with GULF AIR. This flight got cancelled due to war. I contacted the agent from where I booked the first flight and they informed me that the refund request was declined by Gulf Air saying "Passengers have utilized this ticket as per the schedule." I then contacted Gulf air and Gulf air said, "they were not operational during that time due to the war and I am eligible for full refund, so please contact the agent. When I asked if they could process the refund directly, they said Gulf air cant as it was booking made via agent. I again went back to OTA for the refund, they are not responding to my request.
PS : PNR number was same throughout since I booked the flight via OTA to directly booking it via Gulf Air airport agent. The flight was from Mumbai to Berlin with a layover in Bahrain.
Q1 - How much amount of a refund am I eligible for?
Q2 - What can i do get the refund?
