Epix Pro Sapphire 51mm in 2026
Hi everyone, I just picked the Epix Pro Sapphire 51mm on sale for £400, which felt like a deal that I couldn’t pass up on.
This will be my first Garmin watch since using an Apple Watch SE since 2020. I’ve always enjoyed my Apple Watch and its ease of use but I really the like the idea of the extra data available on Garmin.
I’ve watched and read a lot of reviews but there aren’t any that are super recent with most being a year or two old, although they all speak highly of it.
I was torn between this and the Fenix 7X Pro, but went with Epix because of the screen and not really needing it for super long events as I’m more of a weekend warrior dad who trains as much as possible, but no where near elite fitness.
I also considered the Fenix 8, but as I never use the microphone or speaker on my existing watch - I didn’t feel like the extra cost was justifiable for me.
My question to those of you with more experience in the Garmin ecosystem, at this price is this still a good buy in your opinion?
I feel like even if a new wave of watches release later this year, this is still a lot of watch at £400?
