2011 Kia Picanto with 3 cylinder 1.0L petrol engine.

I noticed about a week ago that the car was struggling to start a little but still worked okay after a bit of hesitation. However, the last three times I've driven it the car will not start without a jump starter first.

I've read that it is likely 1 of 3 issues:

Battery

Alternator

Parasitic drainage

Once the car has started it runs fine and doesn't turn off after I disconnect the jumper cables, which leads me to believe it's not the alternator. The other day I started the car with a jump start (the cables actually had to be connected for 15 minutes to charge the battery a bit before it started), ran it for 20-30 minutes (albeit at a low speed and some of that time was idling) and then stalled the car, I tried to turn it on as soon as I stalled and it wouldn't start, which leads me to believe it's not parasitic drainage as there wasn't enough time between stalling and trying to start the car for something like lights to drain the battery whilst the cars off. I believe the battery is also around 10 years old.

The car uses a stop start battery, and I have a quote from a local garage for £180 new battery + fitting fee. Before I pay that much money, I wanted to check here first whether people who have more knowledge than I do on this also agree it's a battery issue, as I have to pay upon booking and I'm not sure I can get my money back if a new battery doesn't solve the problem. Id also appreciate feedback if possible on whether £180 is a decent price for a new stop start battery.

Thanks!
