hey friends

I know we all just got raked over the bullshit coals in the sales and we are beat to shit and tired. and now hotels.

I wanted to just give some advice as a local and native to the area in case it helps.

Downtown LA (DTLA) has a good amount of public transportation. The closest metro rail stop to the convention center is the Pico stop. The A and E line both have stops here. Any hotels within a reasonable walk for you to a stop from these lines will be convenient and right in DTLA.

You can also transfer for this lines off of the B and D lines if you end up a little farther out and don’t want to drive.

If you’re driving, plan to pay a daily premium to park anywhere from $30-50 depending on how close you want to be. Hotels will often have valet for extra.

Downtown is very walkable. The convention center is in the heart of the area with tons of food nearby as well.

hope this helps distract from some of the paints today 🫶
