Switched USB ports and GPS navigation install

Just finished installing front (for the GPS) and rear (for the powerbank, etc) USB ports, together with a phone mount for the dedicated GPS phone. It's a 2014 so it didn't come with an ignition-switched accessory wiring.

Installed two SAE pigtails switched through a relay that taps into license plate light wire. Three fuses: main for the blue relay wire, and each for the front and back SAE pigtails. Both share a ground wire with the relay. Didn't find a better place for this big ass relay than near the intake - not sure maybe that's a mistake... The whole thing looks like a rats nest, maybe I can do better next time. USB port adapters are then plugged into the SAE connectors on either side of the bike.

Wrapped the front run into a sleeve and threaded it along the main harness with. It goes up to the dash area where it plugs into a USB port that's velcroed to the dash unit. Rear run is pulled out from under the seat and can be placed in a tail bag to charge a powerbank etc.

The USB ports are some no-name Chinese things, a single-port and a double-port quick charge with voltmeter. They work but one of them is not great quality... If you can find a name brand USB that suits your needs I'd recommend going with that, even if it is more expensive. The whole USB ports stuff ran me about $60 with ports, wires, relay, fuses, and a crimping tool.

For the GPS I got a used Samsung XCover6 for about $90. OsmAnd for offline maps and GPX tracks. Phone is solid, but screen is really not that bright in sunny weather. Thinking about adding a cowl or some shade.

The mount is a "FANAUE" brand aluminum mount with rubber suspension and a handlebar ball base. I like that it can clamp the phone pretty tight, making it difficult to remove if the wing nuts are replaced with regular nuts. I want to keep the phone on the bike at all times and not worry about it getting stolen (too much).
