Creamy unsalted peanut butter (green label)?

Has anyone seen it reappear in their TJs recently? My dog is wondering.

She doesn’t eat much so it’s been a couple months since I bought it and I cannot find it in any of my local stores/none of the folks in the store that I’ve asked seem to know anything about it! But I read a post on here that it’s been out of stock so curious if anyone has any further info!

Creamy unsalted peanut butter!

My puppy has been eating Trader Joe’s brand creamy unsalted peanut butter since I’ve had her with no belly issues. But it now seems to be out of stock at all the TJs around me?! Anyone have any different recs? She has a sensitive tummy right now so I’m worried about switching to something that might upset her.

Chew toy recs please!!

Ok so my micro (11lb 8 month old) goldendoodle is a TOUGH chewer. Looking for recs!

- She’s having GI issues right now so I’m not doing a ton of edible options (other than a dab of peanut butter mixed with water and frozen into a pupsicle, but can only do that so often).
- She does like the no hide stick chews but holding on those for now per above.
- She has all her adult teeth
- We were using flexi Nylabones (so a step above puppy) but she’s now biting off large chunks of those and I’ve found little bits in the past in her poop so don’t feel super comfortable with that
- She had a puppy benebone and just randomly screamed - I noticed she had managed to chew the end of it into a somewhat sharp little piece. Not enough that it actually hurt her but enough to scare her. And this was maybe 5 mins into getting it.
- She does like the pupstages dogwood chews but I worry those are too hard?
- ChatGPT recommended tough rubber chew options, but she hasn’t seemed as interested in those.

Any and all recs are appreciated!! I want my pup to be happy chewing but also don’t want her to hurt herself or break her teeth!

My 8 month old puppy has gone through a very painful potty experience - she basically got super constipated to the point of prolapse after her spay, was screaming with every poop, we were at the vet every single day last week and she was screaming with every rectal exam, and while the constipation is seemingly resolving (last two poops have been softer and easier for her) she’s developed what seems like a huge fear of outdoors and potty in general.

Today she hasn’t pooped yet (she’s typically a 3x a day pooper), walks a few steps outside then sits down and won’t move. I’ve been taking her out every hour yet she’s peed inside 2x today vs outside once first thing in the AM. Before all this she was fully potty trained outside of a very occasional accident.

What can I do to get her over this fear of pooping and pottying outside? Someone suggested a special treat outside, but if I only give that after she potties outside and she’s not doing that, what else could I try?

Hi! I have an 8 month old, 11lb goldendoodle who was spayed on Thursday. Recovery was going pretty well and she had her first bowel movement post op Saturday morning. Went 3 times Saturday without issue, and Sunday morning.

Sunday afternoon she went a little bit then started yelping as it got caught in her bum. I ended up having to take it off (which I now know I shouldn’t have done).

Monday morning she started screaming while she was going and only went a teeny amount, so we went to the vet. They thought her anal glands were swollen and said to try pumpkin and come back tomorrow if things weren’t better. Monday night she was scared to go and finally went and screamed as she did.

Same thing happened Tuesday morning, so we went in for the anal gland expression. Tuesday evening she was scared to pee or poop - finally peed but didn’t poop. Today (Wednesday) she finally pooped in the morning but screamed as she did so, and there was a little red blood on the last piece of poop. I called asking about it and another vet was working/ wanted to see her, so back into the vet we went for yet another anal exam. The vet today said the next one felt “soft” and that things should start to improve soon, and recommended increasing hydration with wet food and giving probiotics.

The poor thing absolutely HATES having her bum touched (who wouldn’t) and has spent the day pretty much lying around, scared to be outside. Granted she is on sedatives for the spay but they haven’t been working THIS well the past few days. She just ate dinner and is currently lying on top of me shaking.

All of that to say - is any of this normal with anal glands? All the things you read online say that usually the dog feels a lot better after it’s done, but it feels like my pup is getting worse 😭 maybe it’s just her anxiety…I just hate seeing her like this, it’s worse than she was the day after the spay now. Any reassurance or thoughts would be appreciated!!!

Hi! My 8 month old puppy had her spay last Thursday. All seemed to be going well until she had a bit of trouble pooping last night/poop got attached to her bum and she screamed. This morning she started screaming when even squatting down to poop. We went to the vet and her exam seemed normal but her anal glands are apparently enlarged. She hates being examined there so much the vet said we should try some pumpkin today and if she’s still screaming tomorrow we could try expressing them.

My question is - did your puppy have this issue after their spay/neuter? I feel like I’ve read that if you start expressing them it’s hard to stop in the future and I don’t want it to be a regular thing for her…but I absolutely hate hearing her scream like that/have half a mind to bring her back this afternoon if she’s still having issues 😭
