I got a 1987 Crown Victoria LTD LX that is likely above 140k miles and currently the check oil light is on even after I fixed a lot of the Vacuum Lines and PCV system and did essentially 3 oil changes. I know she has exactly 5 quarts of oil since the last change I made a point to drain the oil out and lift the car from the rear to let it fully empty.

Would adding Seafoam to the crankcase possibly clean off any debris clogging the oil pressure sender or would it be better to just replace the sender given the age of the car and the risk the Seafoam tears up any seals or "structural sludge".
