After carefully reviewing Desertcart through various review platforms like Sitejabber and customer complaint forums, it’s clear I’m not alone in this horrendous experience.

My nightmare began when I placed an order for an ESKUTE Electric Dirt Bike for KD 1,495 (over $4,800!), paying the full amount upfront. Over 45 days passed more than one and a half months and they never even processed my order. Multiple emails went completely unanswered, and their chat support was utterly useless. Finally, I was left with no choice but to cancel.

Now I’m out a staggering KD 1,495, still chasing a refund that shows no signs of coming. As a final insult, they sneakily deducted KD 60 for some “Pro membership” without any notice whatsoever. From everything I’ve read now, this is a common trap they use to extort more money from unsuspecting customers.

Total scammers no product, no refund, just endless frustration and stolen money. Dear shoppers from Kuwait and everywhere else, please, BEWARE. Do not trust this company with a single dinar. I strongly advise everyone to search for “Desertcart scam” online to see the overwhelming pattern of complaints before even contemplating making a purchase. You’ve been warned.

Just saw that Ubuy (international shopping platform) was awarded "Cross-Border Brand of the Year" at the IReC X D2C Awards 2026 in Bangalore. The platform operates in over 180 countries and claims to simplify international shopping by handling sourcing, shipping, customs, and delivery.

I have checked their company profile on Trustpilot, Ubuy is rated 4.3 Stars out of 5 from eight thousand plus customers. So I'm curious, has anyone here actually used Ubuy recently? What was your experience with shipping times, customer service, and overall reliability? Does the award match your personal experience?
