Hi all! Looking for some advice on navigating the Wegovy pill and here is a bit of background...

I have been working out 5 days per week for over a year now (split strength training and walking). I have also worked with a dietician in the past and my food mindset has been a solid 80/20, and I am really happy with that. Despite these things, my weight has not moved and it has gotten really frustrating. My goal is to be around 160lbs and I am currently stuck at 185lbs and have been for a long time. The hope is that bringing my weight into a healthier range will help me get pregnant later this year.

So, I am talking to my doctor next week about the wegovy pill. What were your side effects like? I have a job where I can't just get up and walk out, and I admit I am nervous about the GI stories I have heard. I also get married in 6 weeks and am debating if I should start this before or wait until after the wedding.

Any insight or success stories would be so helpful!

Looking into glp-1 for 20-25lb weight loss and curious what others experiences have been for more short term needs?

A little background - I already workout 5 days a week with a mix of strength and cardio. I’ve worked with a dietician and my food has been a solid 80/20 mindset for a few years. My weight hasn’t moved and my cholesterol numbers are high. My doctor recommended glp-1 a year ago, but I wasn’t ready for it.

Considering it now as I want to get these numbers in a healthier range and get myself in the best health to try to get pregnant later this year.

So, if you used glp-1s for a short time frame, how did that go for you? Advice on managing side effects as someone with a sensitive stomach?
