left my ex-husband 6 years ago after a very violent domestic abuse situationship I've had no contact with him whatsoever in over 2 years as well as being blocked from my cell phone . The last couple weeks he has shown up to my apartment while I was getting in my car to go to work, yelling at me to unblock him. I told him I absolutely would not and to never show up here again. A week later he showed up at my work wanting to talk to me. I told him he needed to leave. He called me horrible names and left. Two days ago, as I was getting in my car to go to work he showed up again told me to unblock him. I told him to leave the property, I'm leaving for work, that I was going to be late, and to not ever come here again or else I was going to call the cops. That night he showed up at my work. This man is extremely unstable and I'm scared that if I get a restraining order against him that he will retaliate. And like I said, he's extremely violent has guns and has nothing to lose in his life. We were only married for 3 years. I got out as soon as I could and have created a safe environment for myself, that took a very long time. Now I'm scared and I don't know what I should do. He is also very against cops.
