23F, non smoker, occasional drink, no meds, very active

i ripped out my eyelashes almost a year ago, and have gone through the ringer w trying to get them to grow back. after using castor oil and other serums, i realized that they didn’t do anything but weigh down my lashes and make even more of them (if not all) fall out. however, for the past two months ive dropped all oils/serums and am simply letting the lashes grow themselves- and it’s been great progress so far! but im noticing this flaky stuff coming off my lash line. i’m wondering if its product build up, or skin? should this be of any concern? also i find myself trying to remove it, i wonder if i should just be letting it be?
