Why are most Azeri ppl (Gen-Z and uni studnets) so görməmiş and wanna be American/european?
Ever since that new fast food chain (popeyes) opened i've been seeing this behaviour more and more often. Literally since the opening day of popeyes until now there is always a line starting from the ordering booths until KFC (if you've been at cresent mall a few times you'll know what im talkjing about) people wait HOURS and HOURS for just a piece of chicken between 2 pieces of ultra processed bread. Just because its "American" it attracts thousands of people a day, even though they opened a new branch in Ganjlik mall the situation is still bad in cresent mall. you have people fighting over their position in line, you see people cutting and its just chaos. I guarantee you if it was an Azeri fast food branch no one would give 2 shits. There are literally azeri food chains (like hop daddy) which i would say are much better than the american fast food chains we have. The only way you can possiblt try popeyes without spending hours of your time waiting in line is either to go in the morning or before closing time. And even if you end up being able to order during the afternoon you wont find a spot to sit thats how bad the situation is. Oh and i almost forgot about the dippers situation. Ever since the chain opened you see people spamming in comments sections to bring the "dippers sauces" in case you didnt know what they were, they take those cups for drinking and the just fill it to the brim with sauce. thats it. and people are acting like its so revolutionary YOU DO NOT NEED A WHOLE CUP FILLED WITH SAUCE you wont even use like 5% of it and it will mold in a few days anyways so you wont be able to finish it SO WHATS THE POINT.
On the other hand if you go as our Gen-Z population and most uni students if they want to go to the US (like move there) they would start praising it so much you would think there is no better country. literally i've visited the US and its just filled with disrespectful blacks, you cant walk outside at night alone, the fast food is so bad that you just wanna vomit after 2-3 bites (canon event) and its just not that "amazing" of a place unless you're super rich and you can use all those trendy amenities
