Help! Need to figure out asap if I’ll be returning or exchanging this swimsuit! It’s been a couple yrs since I’ve been active on here but I’m 5 months postpartum & way too tired and overwhelmed to figure this out with my own brain.

Got a GORGEOUS Boux Avenue swim top size 32H UK. It mostly seems good except the wires are digging in against my ribcage directly under the center/nipple area. I’m not sure if the cups are too big or the wires are just too wide? The cups don’t seem too big at all but there is a tiny bit of buckling between the wires and my breast. What does this mean?? It’s immediately uncomfortable so there’s no way I could spend a day at the water wearing it. I’ve heard people bend the wires but I’m not going to do that if there’s any chance of returning it. What size should I exchange for? H is the highest cup size it goes. I can go up or down band size, 30 or 34, and go down cup size but not up. Is there ANY way I can make this work or am I doomed to return it and pick a different style? I really wanted this swimsuit :(.

Current Measurements:
Loose U: 28.5”
Snug U: 27.5”
Tight U: 26.5”
Standing B: 38”
Leaning B: 40”
Lying B: 38.5”

28HH UK // 28L US

Bottom full and w/ nursing maybe a little even full.

More Context:
I used to always shop Boux Avenue before getting pregnant last year. Had pretty good luck with their sizing. Their bands fit tighter so I was usually wearing 1 band size up from my measurements. That along with H being their biggest cup, my best guess was 32H. I have a few old bras at home that I tested, the 30 band was snug but wearable, the 32 band was comfortable.

Now that I’m breastfeeding I’ve been purchasing non wired nursing bras only. Swimsuit time is coming and I really need a supportive swimsuit! I’m absolutely in love with this glam style bikini and I was really really hoping this top would work. Now that I’m bigger & nursing I CANNOT afford to wear any bra or swimsuit top that is painful, digs into my breasts or ribcage, ill fitting in any way. I don’t think a triangle bikini top will be supportive enough. I’ve considered one piece suits but pondering if it will be uncomfortable just having the girls squish against me.

I’ve seen other supportive brands with swimsuits on sites like breakout bras, adore me, etc. Their stuff is mostly pretty plain and disappointing looking, just not my style. I’ve been struggling with my PP body so for swimwear I just really want to feel glammed up, good in my skin. Boring won’t do. It’s hard to find really cute swimsuits for the sizes I need/supportive fit. Is this a unicorn wish?! Boux Avenue was my only hope so far.

Bonus points if you can recommend a great nursing bra for hot weather, that will be my next post.

Thank you thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
