AITAH for telling my ex "karma's a bitch" after she got hit by a car
So my (22 f) ex girlfriend (34 f) got hit by a car a couple weeks ago. She's fine. She had to get shoulder surgery, but she's otherwise perfectly fine. We had a really toxic relationship and I think because she's older than me she felt she should have power over me. So when I left she started posting lies about me everywhere saying I was cheating on her or I hit her and abused her. I even had people messaging me calling me names and just telling me how bad of a person I am. I don't even know how any of them believed her, because she was like twice my size and she could 100% body me if I were to ever try to get physical with her. But it is what it is. I just took it in a way that these people were just waiting for a reason to not like me. But a few days ago she called me from a random phone number asking for money, which is how I found out she got hit by a car. And I responded "Karma's a Bitch, ask someone else." And I hung up. She called my mom and sister and told them, I guess she thought calling my mommy would do something. My mom called me saying that was really disrespectful to say something like that to her. And my sister called me an asshole. I told them that she had some nerve to call and ask me expecting to get something out of me after everything. But maybe I could have just hung up after I knew it was her on the other line. So, Aitah?
