Increasing pain post op
I am 15 weeks post RTKR. I'm a 39f who had an injury at 16 and had 4 prior surgeries on the knee. I've needed a replacement for about 10 years, but I was "too young" and when I went to a premiere ortho in my area, they said we can't wait any longer. So, in January, I had it done. The Dr said it looked like someone had taken a cheese grater to my bones and they were surprised I was walking at all. I had a fairly normal recovery for the first 3 months, and graduated physical therapy and few weeks ago. Then the pain started. It's deep pain, very much like my arthritis was. My ortho said it's likely still from the bone healing to the implant. It's getting worse. I would say I'm at a 6-8/10 when weight bearing, and I have a very high pain tolerance. It doesn't hurt to stand or when I'm not on it, only when I'm moving. I have a message in to my dr to see when I can get in again.
Guys, I'm scared. I have waited for this for so long and I a complication would be honestly devastating.
