I live in a dorm and technically have a roommate, but she doesn’t actually stay here, she’s just registered.
I have a friend who knows this and keeps coming over, sometimes without even asking first. When she comes, she doesn’t just visit, she basically moves in and stays for days without discussing it.
Last time, she stayed for two full weeks. During that time, she used my things and didn’t contribute to groceries or anything we bought, so she was basically staying rent-free.
She came over again recently, and I thought it would just be for one night, but now it’s been 3 days and it’s turning into the same situation again.
When I tried to set a boundary after the last time, she started “joking” to others that I kicked her out, which made me feel uncomfortable.
Even today, when I went to buy groceries because I ran out, she didn’t offer to pay and was suggesting I buy things “so I could feed her”.
I don’t know how to handle this anymore and it’s really stressing me out.
