Using Drops to List to Space New Listings(?)
Heyyyyyy community! Random question for my fellow Poshmark people.
I’m in between jobs right now and start my new one next week, so I’ve been using the downtime to tackle my massive death pile. I’m very much an “I only sell my own old clothes” kind of seller, but I’ve somehow accumulated 500+ items that I never had time to fully prep and list.
So this past week I’ve been going full steam ahead, steaming, staging, photographing, measuring, all of it. Basically trying to get everything ready before life gets chaotic again.
Here’s my question though: I’ve always heard that consistently listing new items helps with visibility/sales because Poshmark favors closets that are consistently adding new items (I get it it’s their business model) Since I know I won’t have nearly as much time once I start my new job, I was wondering if anyone has used scheduled “drop” listings to space listings out over time instead of posting everything at once?
Does that strategy actually help? Or does it not really matter? Curious what’s worked for other people!
