Help Redesigning 2005 RV
New RV owners over here. Been spending the week steam cleaning every inch of her and getting utilities up and running, now we’re ready to do some budget-friendly redesigning! Mostly looking for help on color/design concepts.
Current Plan:
- Clean & refinish dings on cabinets
- Peel and stick Tile back splash
- I will be making Roman style no string shades for each window
- Create accent wall next to bathroom door with either wallpaper or painted wood wall paneling
- wallpaper behind bed
- reupholster dinette cushions
- reupholster weird protective trim pieces
- perhaps replace couch with 2 recliners?
So with this I ask, what direction would you go with color on my shades, tile, upholstered pieces, wallpaper, bedding etc. Looking for a more modern look yes, but I also love eclectic and vintage vibes too with at least a splash of color.
My husband would like to paint all cabinets white for a refresh because he hates the orange cabinet clash with dark tone wood floor. I just enjoy the look of wood so much more though so open to suggestions there but I think a nice runner will break up the clashy-ness. GIMME THOUGHTS THX
