I’m using file to fit rings (mahle 3903ms-15) on a standard bore ls1. When I got the rings I noticed they’ve got a label with 3.898 +0.005”. Filed the compression rings because boost, but I’m wondering if the expander ring is going to matter with this oversize.

My gut says not an issue due to the corrugation, but figured I’d see if anyone has opinions on this.
