So I finally.... FINALLY..... FUCKING! FINALLY......got the courage to walk up to my crush and instead of our regular chit chat, got to express that I like her and exchanged numbers. Then we texted a bit after I left her, feeling like I was high on LSD and shrooms! And then..... nothing. Silence. Ghost town. Crickets. She has fallen off the face of the earth. Or perhaps been abducted by aliens. Either way there is no longer anything coming from her end. And me reaching out to check in when we JUST exchanged numbers will look bloody psychotic because what if she's just busy. But then again, if you are really into someone, you can't be so busy you go almost an entire week without responding to their messages now can you? Sigh. I truly don't know how you all do this on a regular basis. This is emotionally devastating. And now if I have a crush on someone else down the road I'm supposed to do this again knowing it might turn out like this?? Guys!!! You can't be serious! This feels AWFUL! I think I'm good 👍 I think.....I think I'll go back to the useless pinning over at the other end of the room and never saying anything and always wondering 'what if'. That SURE feels better than THIS!!! You guys are troopers for doing this on the regular.... couldn't be me✌️
