▲ 4 r/toddlers
Between dinner and the start of his bedtime routine (which is about a 30 minute span), we basically chase our toddler around with yogurt and other foods he'll allow while "on the go." If we don't, he wakes up hungry a few hours into bedtime.
Dinner is at 5:30pm. He's desperately bored and thinking about his cars by 5:45. We proceed to chase him around with filler food, which he'll gladly snack on as long as he gets to have his freedom from the highchair, but now dinner is disrupted and so is post-dinner playtime. Bath time is at 6:30. Bedtime at 7:30.
Surely there's a better way? We need to set a better food routine, but we also need SLEEP. 3am hunger wakeups aren't fun.
