Hi pretty much what the title eludes to.

Our son is 20 months. He would take a binky at naptime, bedtime, in the car and when we change him. We have weaned all except sleep times. I cut a hole in his binky and one night he slept fine without after crying for about 20 mins. But tonight he was like inconsolable and sweating. So I gave him the one with the hole cut in it and he went right to sleep.

Do you think it’s too soon?
How long did it take you to wean your toddler?

I dont think he’s old enough to understand the pacifier fairy just yet. But, we started weaning mostly because he’s not really talking just yet and we’ve spent all of April on antibiotics for an ear infection (likely all due to the pacifier).
