Hi Peeps,

41 M here.

I had my gastric bypass in Aug 2016 at 140 kg. The surgery worked well for me for a year until I hit 103 kg in 2020.

After that I hit a plateau and then the weight began to creep up (a mixture of sedentary lifestyle, emotional eating, insatiable cravings, and mental issues).

I now stand at 116kg and this weight is severely impacting my health. My Doctor thinks I may be a good candidate for Mounjaro but I'm scared and want to know if this would work for my case as I'm desperate to lose weight to live.

Any suggestions and thoughts would be much appreciated. Thank you all.
