Heyo! This feels like a long shot, but I'm looking for a comic I read when I was about 10-12 years old, so it would have had to have been published no later than 2013-ish.
I can remember very little about it - not the title or the publisher - except for that it was a sort of grimdark, western-y style comic, and that the main antagonists were zombies with glowing orange eyes. From what I recall, the zombies had been infected with an organism that came from the sun? One of the zombie characters was a young girl, and she was able to speak, and had some big monologue where she explained where the zombies came from iirc?
I think the protagonist might have been some sort of grizzled priest or monk or other holy man who had become bitter and turned to alcoholism. The comic itself was pretty gruesome in parts. I think at the end the survivors escaped via a helicopter?
I've been googling and googling but have so far been unable to find anything. Any help is appreciated!
