Claw 8 ai low fps on battery

I’ve been having issue with rocket league in particular my framerate is Locked at 40fps on battery (at any TDP setting or profile), when plugged in will reach display refresh rate (120) easy.

This problem just randomly occurred months ago and I kinda gave up and played this game only on my desktop, randomly today I had to solve this issue and the first step was plugging in and that just worked lol.

I’ve already looked at windows power plan settings and I don’t see anything obvious that would make my claw limit performance when running on battery and any other game I’ve played hasn’t had this issue. Ideally would love this issue more resolved so I can play unplugged with 120fps.

This is my first moving experience as an adult and i am looking for some advice, i have most of my things at my new address (partners house) and i have quite a bit of money saved up aswell as E.I starting soon. Currently have my class 7 license (N) from BC and will already have a car when i arrive was just curious what my first steps on getting my proper Nova Scotia license and car insurance?.

In British Columbia we have ICBC (monopoly) that controls licenses and insurance so thats all i've ever known, just trying to plan ahead and be able to get everything i need ASAP, if any steps i could take beforehand or any advice in general would be very much appreciated.

I am a bit sad leaving all my family, friends and coworkers but am so excited to start my new life with my partner. 99% of my work experience is in sawmills mostly in heavy equipment operation ( forklift, log loader, bucket loader etc..) and ive applied for a few gigs and have gotten a response from the few places ive applied for (lower wages then im used too) but I would like to keep my mind open and find something new or go get a trade at some point soon. Ideally would like to stay on E.I for some of the upcoming summer to get settled, get used to traffic/environment in general aswell as enjoy some time off in my new home.

Any tips on moving/work recommendations/ things i should know would all be very much appreciated.
