Just tried to call a Verizon rep and believe it or not, they are beta testing “AI humans” to answer calls. It’s honestly one of the most disheartening things to hear from a carrier that prides itself on the best customer experience. The AI ‘human’ hung up on me 4 times and then proceeded to spam me with texts about how it was “so sorry” that the call disconnected. I reread what I just typed and realized this sounded more like a rant than i intended. I just thought it’d be interesting to share this here since I’m really into how AI is changing things.
