AITAH For not inviting my partners cousin brothers girlfriend to our wedding
I 22F and my partner 23M decided finalise our wedding guest list and my partners cousin (25M) was okay with the list as he stated “fair enough“ and didn’t throw a tantrum however his girlfriend (22F) was mad at me at a family gathering (Mother’s Day) and told everyone that I wasn’t considering her as a “family”.
my partner and I explained in-front of all the family members including extended etc at the gathering that we only allow engaged or married couples or couples that have been in a long relationship (3+ years or more).
all of the family members were on our side saying that we allow whoever we feel comfortable with on our wedding day.
mind you all me and my partners cousin girlfriend have met once at a family gathering and never talked once other than hi and bye but when I’ve talked about our wedding at the family gathering she would make faces or change the conversation (family members go back to asking our wedding after her question lol) as if she is jealous or something 🤷🏻♀️
my partners cousin and her girlfriend are dating for 2 months
my partner and I are only allowing extra 1 aka their partner IF they are engaged or are married Or in a long term relationship
