She is the crush, I am a male. I know it is super narcissitic of me to ask this, moving on. Afternoon, out of nowhere, she texts me a screenshot. In it is some online meeting, presenting a slide, on which is written "guess the song" and a song. I read it and it was a very romantic love song, written in pompous language, but directed to a female (in the language we speak, there is a different second person pronoun for each gender). I answered that I am not the right guy to guess songs and that she can maybe ask Google. She texted "No, this is (some popular song title) but written in a haughty register". I am known in the friend group for being obsessed with grammar, etymology, and haughty registers (trust me, I speak much better in our shared language), so that excuse somewhy makes sense, but now my autistic ass has no idea what the heck. Please help? Thanks?
