Long story short, I will eventually be on a farm. I need a more capable (towing) truck.

Granited, I absolutely love my s10, it's starting to show its real ugly age.

I have a s10, 2002 (extreme?) 3rd door cab model/type. Only 125k miles. I bought it for 4k with 100k miles, zero rust. Owned for 10 years.

The starter died, replaced it. Distributor died, replaced. That's the only 2 issues that stopped the truck.

It's a custom job from the previous owner I believe. It's reduced height/low, so a real pita to get a jack under. He put like this electrical box thingy plugged inside the engine bay (like one of those "connect this for x2 horsepower!"). The tires are a giant pita, the lugs have to be extended and it slots through the wheel instead, rather then normal cars I've owned where the studs thread go through the wheel well. So annoying. Plus I think somethings off with either the wheels or the speedometer, cause I drove next to my dad on a street, he was doing 30, I had to do 40mph just to stay level with him. It has a full fiberglass tonneau cover.

However the back beds wheel wells are rusting bad, paint chipping. A big chunk of ice I hit took a chunk out of the front bumper. Someone must've hit me in a lot cause I got a dented back bed. A few dents from hail damage. Now it's leaking water inside from faulty weatherstripping. The window is cracked across the drivers side from truckers big rock trucks. The inside dash is cracking everywhere. W/e work he did previous, dropped the gas tank on the main wiring harness, severing the fuel omhs reader wire. He sold it to me with this as he didn't know why fuel gage always said empty. I since spliced a new wire to get my reading back but its off a quarter.

I did do a custom exhaust/muffler setup. And a remote starter. 2 gas springs mod for the hood.

Is this thing even worth anything with all the issues? Like I said I absolutely love it as my first ever car, but issues just keep continuing to pile up. Parasitic power draw means ur batt dies in 2 weeks of no driving. No ac, lights died in the dash so no lights at night.

I honestly would keep it but the biggest issues for me (well now it's water leaking) is the lowered front making it nigh impossible in some places to actually traverse (its like 3 inches front bumper), every small bump feels like a pothole (my mechanic said my springs are fine), and the wheels/lugs situation. The tonneau cover is great but annoying too. Anything large can't be thrown in my bed because of the angled lift of the cover. And taking off the lid is a major pita that often loosens the lock wire or disengages the tracks.

Sorry for long post, there's a lot of history with my truck.
